The GUS Disinfection Soak Station by CIVCO Medical Solutions is designed for the manual high-level disinfection of TEE probes. Its innovative curved tube design facilitates easy insertion and removal of long transducers while ensuring compliance with safety standards. The heavy duty stainless steel safety cage protects against tube and transducer damage.GUS Disinfection Soak Stations protect your staff and patients from toxic fumes while helping you to meet The Joint Commission and OSHA standards. GUS stations are compatible with all disinfectants (OPA, glutaraldehyde, hydrogen peroxide) and economical to operate. Fully enclosed for increased protection. This unique curved tube design makes inserting and removing long TEE transducers easy. The heavy duty stainless steel safety cage protects against tube and transducer damage. Protects delicate probes by suspending them with a grip clip in a soaking container. The soaking station ships standard with three tubes, two for high level disinfection and the third tube for initial rinse. Final rinsing should be done per the disinfectant manufacturer& x27;s guidelines. Each tube holds less than one quart of disinfectant, compared to two gallons used in conventional soaking basins. This amounts to savings of 45.5 gallons (172.2 litters) of disinfectant annually. This soaking system meets OSHA guidelines.
